Week 9: What I saw

SEC:

Auburn @ Mississippi:
No, Auburn is not a one man team. Michael Dyer, Demond Washington, and Onterio McCalebb made sure Ole Miss knew that before they got back on the bus towards Auburn. I saw Cam Newton catch a touchdown pass just to make double sure he had everyone's Heisman vote as well. I saw the number one team in the country act like the number one team in the country. Ole Miss did not have the man power to go up against the triple-pronged attack of Auburn. The defense was average once again, but Ole Miss' offense is better than many think.

Vanderbilt @ Arkansas:

Mallett made it look too easy after Vanderbilt had a touchdown advantage early in the first half. Things spiraled out of control very quickly, though, and it wasn't even a contest in the second half.

Kentucky @ Mississippi State:
I'll be honest, I thought that this would be the trip up game for the bulldogs after some great wins in the past few weeks. They were able to prove me wrong and beat a pesky Kentucky team. I liked what Chris Relf was able to do in the rushing and passing game against a weak Wildcat defense.

Florida @ Georgia
Yeah so Florida didn't do too much to win this game but they were able to capitalize on some soft defense from the Dawgs. Trey Burton had the play of the game when he went 51 yards to go up by a touchdown against Georgia. Chas Henry was actually able to kick a FG in overtime as Florida wins some salvation in a victory after three straight losses.

Tennessee @ South Carolina:
South Carolina won, but the Vols played well. Tennessee does not have the horses to go against any SEC opponent. Oh, Marcus Lattimore is really good too.

BIG TEN

Ohio State @ Minnesota:
After a 7-7 score I got excited for a second. A legimate second. Then, I realized what team I was dealing with. Minnesota had no business being in that game and Ohio State took care of them without too much sweat.

Michigan State @ Iowa
Michigan State was man handled from the beginning to the end in this contest. Their undefeated record is thrown out the window, but they are still in the running for a Rose Bowl berth. Kirk Ferentz redeemed himself today in supreme fashion, as the Hawkeyes were up 37-0 at one point. Ricki Stanzi is looking extremely good too. No mistakes=good football.

Michigan @ Penn State
Yeah, so Michigan isn't that good. Denard Robinson cannot do it all by himself against Big Ten competition and Penn State is acutally alive (contrary to popular belief. And NO, being alive during a Minnesota game is not living) MATTY McGLOIN ALL DAY BABY.

Northwestern @ Penn State- Indiana looked good for a decent amount of this game, but Dan Persa is doing an outstanding job with this Northwestern offense.

More "What I saw" coming tomorrow.. I'm too tired. I know all of you will wait with baited breath until tomorrow morning, but hey, it is what it is.
