Conferences: Who Still has a Chance in the Big East

The Big East is Confused

Well the Big East hasn't done much more this season but suck. HEY it's all good guys! At least you still have 7 weeks to go in conference play. Let's see who still has a chance in a conference as weak as Boston College's offense.

West Virginia- Right now, WVU looks like the best team in the conference. The loss to OOC LSU was tough, but have no bearing on their Big East schedule. It looks like WVU will be favored in every game remaining on their schedule. I don't see them going undefeated in conference play but 2 lossest would probably still give them the upperhand heading into the Backyard Brawl.

Chance: 44%

Pittsburgh- Man, Pittsburgh was just plain bad against Miami. Notre Dame should be another loss for the Panthers. Injuries are a huge issue and will make or break the season (as they usually do). If PITT can go 4-0 after their bye week on November 6th, they will win the Big East.

Chance: 30%

Cincinnati- The Bearcats have had a pretty difficult OOC schedule. Fresno State and NC State crept up on them and made them look like the worst team in the Big East. Oklahoma let Cinci almost win the September 25th matchup but  it's all GOOD. Like Pittsburgh, if Cinci can win their last four games after their open week, they will meet a team down in Miami.

Chance: 18%

Connecticut- Despite my overall distaste for Connecticut this year, they have still put themselves into a great postition to win the Big East and make Kirk Herbstreit a genius. Connecticut has lost to Temple and barely beaten Vanderbilt and Buffalo. I don't have much faith in these boys, but Randy Edsall has done cool things before.

Chances: 8%
