Conferences: Who Still has a Chance in the MWC

Best Non-AQ Conference
Mountain West:

TCU- Of course TCU still has a chance. They're the best team in the conference thus far and deserve to be ranked where they are. Their wins have been very good but not as impressive as many want them to be. Personally, I couldn't care less.. a win is a win. In terms of conferenc play, they have Air Force and San Diego State at home while they travel to Utah. Going undefeated is the intention, but the road is much tougher than they hoped. I still give them the best chance to win the conference though.

Chance: 42%

Air Force- Air Force has been somewhat of a suprise to me with their offensive skill, but I am definitely warming up to their ways. Their rushing attack is the best in the country but their MWC schedule is tougher than Utah's and TCU's. If the Falcons are 6-1 heading into Fort Worth, I give them a very good shot at the Conference title

Chance: 17%
Utah- The goal was to go 4-0 heading into the bye and the Utes have done it. The offense and defense are beautifully balanced. Iowa State is no pushover and the last 5 weeks of the year will be EXTREMELY difficult. I find it tough to see Utah come out unscathed in all of those games but if you're going to lose, Utah, lose to Notre Dame.

Chance: 32%

San Diego State- Dark Horse candidate without a doubt. The offense has been potent and the defense has proven itself against serious competition. They were able to hold Utah State to 7 points. The next week, Utah State light up BYU offensively. Brady Hoke has this team going somewhere fast. Don't count them out of any conference play.

Chance: 9%
